When to seek Help
The following issues would be some of the more prevalent reasons for a client attending for Counselling or Psychotherapy, however we also work with clients to alleviate many other concerns not listed here. If in doubt as to whether therapy can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Often a person can feel under stress or low over a short period of time, however if these feelings persist or return on a regular basis, it may be advisable to seek counselling. It may be that an individual feels overwhelmed in areas where they are normally confident or have negative feelings that have persisted even after talking to family and friends. They may also have noticed a change in their eating or sleeping patterns or are feeling irritable or short-tempered. These symptoms can be the result of any of the following, for example;
  • Anxiety
  • Anger Management
  • Bereavement
  • Bullying
  • Childhood Sexual Abuse
  • Depression
  • Eating Disorders
  • Self Esteem Issues
  • Panic Attacks
  • Post Addiction Counselling
  • Relationship Issues
  • Sexual Addiction
  • Trauma
  • Divorce/Separation
