Qualifications

Joseph Flanagan BSc (Psychotherapy) M.Phil (Psychoanalysis) TCD, Dip in Counselling, MIACP. Joseph Flanagan holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University. He also has completed a Master’s degree in Psychoanalysis in Trinity College, Dublin. He has undertaken post grad training in the area of sexual addiction. He is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and works in accordance with their code of ethics.

Katrina Flanagan MSc. (Psychotherapy). MSc. (Psych), BSc. (Psych), Dip Coun. MIACP. Katrina was awarded a master's degree in Psychotherapy from UCD through the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin. She also holds both an honours and a master's degree in Psychology. Katrina commenced her initial training in counselling with a Diploma in Counselling from the Tivoli Institute in Dun Laoghaire. She has undertaken further training in the area of Trauma, Critical Response and Clinical Supervision and is a fully accredited member and Supervisor with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Who are the IACP ?
The Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy is the largest organisation of counselling therapists in Ireland. It was founded in 1981 and currently has over 2,500 members. In order to be accredited with IACP an individual must have graduated with a recognised qualification from an approved college and must have completed 450 hours supervised post grad clinical work.
