Katrina Flanagan MSc (Psychotherapy) MSc (Psychology) BSc (Psychology), Dip. Counselling, MIACP. Katrina was awarded a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy from UCD and the Dept. of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. She also holds a Masters degree in Psychology and has undertaken further training in the area of Trauma, Critical Response and Clinical Supervision. Katrina began her training in counselling with a Diploma from the Tivoli Institute in Dun Laoghaire and is a fully accredited member and clinical supervisor with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
The Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy is the largest organisation of counselling therapists in Ireland. It was founded in 1981 and currently has over 2,500 members. In order to be accredited with the IACP an individual must have graduated with a recognised qualification from an approved college and must have completed 450 hours supervised post grad clinical work.
