Joseph Flanagan BSc (Psychotherapy) M Phil (Psychoanalysis) TCD, Dip in Counselling, MIACP. Joseph holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University. He also has completed a Master’s Degree in Psychoanalysis in Trinity College, Dublin. He has undertaken post grad training in the area of sexual addiction. Joseph is a fully accredited member of the IACP (the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and works in accordance with their code of ethics.
The Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy is the largest organisation of counselling therapists in Ireland. It was founded in 1981 and currently has over 2,500 members. In order to be accredited with the IACP an individual must have graduated with a recognised qualification from an approved college and must have completed 450 hours supervised post grad clinical work.
